I was up in the Peak District a few days ago around the Errwood Reservoir & Goyt Valley area, and there were plenty of good autumnal scenes here to photograph. It also helped with the sun being out as you can get some great backlit shots of the trees and leaves. And it isn't very far from Macclesfield.

Plenty of places off the middlewood way, the canal and so on on the way up to Poynton.

Get up onto Alderley edge and get a view out over the plains

maybe one of the Meres

Macc forest should offer plenty of opportunities

the mining museum on teggs nose, could be very striking in the right lighting conditions

Cheers guys...i think the Goyt is fave for tomorrow, iv been there a few times on road rallys. Also Alderly Edge sounds good, i know there are lots of great places near the 'Edge'

Thanks for the inspiration :)
