Pixel kings for Nikon, anyone using them ?

Just recently noticed these for Nikon, is anyone here using them ? and if so whats the verdict ? they seem quite cheap for an ittl mode flash trigger.

I've been using them for a little while. I've not had any real issues with them and am pretty happy with them. They do what it says on the tin

They also work well as manual triggers for studio heads

The only biggie with them for me is the lack of a test button, so if I want to test my setup I need to fire the shutter.

Thanks Hugh, do they have full ittl mode, ie can they work on more than one flash using ittl, from the trigger, or can they only fire one flash in ittl mode.

I've been using two flashes together with the in iTTL mode. Two recievers and one transmitter

I must admit they do look pretty good, certainly for the price anyway, their is always the saying "if it looks to good to be true" however they do seem to have reasonable reviews, do they fire every time ? any problems here ? and whats the range of them, how do they compare to the more expensive triggers ie PW,s assuming you have used anything like that.

I've not had any complaints bout them at all (except for no test button) and not had any issues with miss firing or not firing. I have to admit I've not tried the range. Compared to my old skyports (I never used PWs) they're alot bigger, but I really have no complaints. The reviews say if you switch the transmitter off while on a hotshoe it locks the body. I haven't tried this . I do recommend them. Just FYI you can pick up a pack of 1 transmitter and 2 recievers for £150 on evil bay

Thanks for the info Hugh, i will take another look, i'm also looking to see how these HERE compare, Hahnel also do a trigger called Viper, unfortunately not available for Nikon yet, but they look very good, looks like Canon have got the monopoly on available good budget triggers at the moment

The new magic Lencarta triggers are for Nikon only.

But i'm unsure if these have the full TTL control, can't find much about them regarding this, besides that they are double the price of pixel kings.

They do not have TTL control. If they did there would be a big song & dance about it as TTL control would enable them to charge an even larger premium over the cost of the usual cheap manual triggers.

Hugh. If you press the bottoms on both sides at the same time they fire a test flash. It has a slight delay but it fires.
