Yes
I've done a search but not found anything, apologies if it's already been covered.

I don't use triggers that often with my SB900's, in the past using the bog standard Pixel or the built in remote if it's in a dark setting, and in the studio I use a bowens pulsar tx and rx cards. I'm thinking of diversifying a bit.

I'd like to have ttl capability for the speedlights when off cam, it's not essential I know but a number of times in busy situations I've craved it!

I'd also really like to stop having to climb up on a chair when I have the bowens up high, or even worse dropping them down to adjust then putting back up, so remote operation of power on the 500 r's would be nice...

What are my options? I've been looking at the Pixel Kings and PW's but are there alternatives? I'm Nikon based btw.

Have a look at the yn622n. Hopefully these do what you want.

YN 622 is the obvious choice for TTL, but you won't get remote power control of studio heads.

Just got my 622s - working well with my sb700 and D7K

The good news is though, the remote control for your Bowens, and a set of 622s is still a massive saving on the PWs (which don't control the bowens either).

I've never used the 622s, but have used both the Pixel King and the PW. I gave up on the Pixel King, inconstant results and they used to weld themselves to my cameras. After I removed one with a hacksaw from the hotshot I bought PW instead. They are the most expensive, but do have the most functionality and seem to work.

I've been using the Phottix Odins and they are top draw, a bit costly though but have pretty much every conceivable feature

Odins are great, but more money than YN, and they don't allow another gun to be used on-camera, or have an AF-assist beam. But the LCD control panel is dead easy, and that also means they work with non-TypeII guns (580EX, 430EX etc).

Isn't it time for a triggers sticky? This question comes up fairly often and there doesn't even appear to be a great web resource for the answer.
