Has anyone else bought the fairly new Pixapro CITI600?

https://www.essentialphoto.co.uk/product/pixapro-citi600-ttl-battery-flash/

I bought one last week at TPS and after the little bit of use I've given it at a wedding yesterday I'm really pleased with it. It's one hell of a light.

I've got 1 question though. The light can go down to 1/256th power in manual mode. I can get it to 1/256th if I set the power on the actual unit itself but I trigger the flash with the Pixapro PRO ST-III trigger which only seems to be able to go down to 1/128th power.

Any ideas how I'd get down to 1/256th power using the trigger? Is it possible?

It's rebadged and repriced Godox AD600.

You'd have to ask them about the trigger cock up.

I think there's a firmware update to do it.

Yep well aware it's the same as the Godox. Just wondered if there was a solution to getting the lowest power setting or if it's just a limitation of the trigger.

It's not a huge issue because I can easily use a speedlight if I need that little power.

Any idea where you get the new firmware from?
Godox, but the site might be Chinese (IIRC) and you'll need a Windows PC to do it, there's a thread on POTN and a lot of people who know their way round the Godox stuff.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I've managed to update to V13 of the firmware and the trigger now lets me get to 1/256th power. It actually shows as 1/128- on the back of the trigger but as 1/256th on the actual flash display. God knows if I'll ever use the flash on a power setting that low but it's nice to know i can.

I think that they guys at Pixapro now have a firmware update that fixes the power adjustment issue. if you contact their Customer sevices team by email, I'm sure they'll help you out
