Edit My Images
Yes
I've had a search but can't seem to find any information regarding the site Pixabay on here. It's like Flickr but anything you upload is Royalty free / free for commercial use. Fully understand why anyone who is able to charge for images wouldn't use it, but thought it would have been mentioned before..

It's a good way to see if your images are popular as well as there being loads of stuff which is completely free to download and use in your own projects.

For instance my most popular image is this below with almost 19,000 views and almost 6,000 downloads, not sure why really is at it's one of my least favs.

I figured if people do use it then we could potentially have a 'my most popular image on Pixabay' akin to the Flickr thread.

Just a thought..

Not a bad nature as art image.

But as for site and it's purpose/function, not for me........I surmise the site owners are making money in some way so why not the photographers!

I'm confused.

If a customer is happy to use these images, which seem to be as good as most micro stock, why do the artists believe they're not someone who could charge for their images.

The world has gone mad.

Very fair point. In my case, at the time i wasn't aware that you could upload to stock sites and make commission, so guess there are a fair few in a similar boat. However, there are clearly some uploaders who are very very good photographers / digital artists so I'm not 100% sure of their motives. I imagine there will be a few 'purists' who believe 'art' should be free to all and I guess some people just like sharing, maybe?
