pictures from lightroom to flickr to talkphotography?

I've no idea how to do this, when i click browse to upload pics on my flickr account I can't find my images.

Any advise appreciated before I just give up.
 
you are saving your images as jpegs?
 
I just upload from camera to lightroom. I shoot in RAW
 
you need to convert them to jpeg first then (or tiff/png etc)
 
I find flickr adds sharpening so images that look right before uploading to flickr seem to look over sharpened after (to me anyway).
 
You don't need to convert the images yourself, Lightroom does it as part of the uploading process.

1) Set up Lightroom to talk with you Flickr account. Log in manually to your Flickr account, then in the Library Module of Lightroom click on Set up on the Flickr button (near the bottom of the left pane). Do what it says, and set the sizes etc. This is where the jpg conversion will automatically happen.

2) Drag the pictures you want to upload onto the Flickr button. From the grid view is fine.

3) Click on the Publish button.

4) See your pictures on Flickr.

Part 2

When you have uploaded the images to Flickr, choose one you want to put in your TP post, and click on the Share button above it. Expand the Grab the HTML/BBCode option. Select the image size you want to upload. Select the BBCode option. Click anywhere in the code box. It will automatically select all the code. Copy it, then paste it into your TP post. You don't need to use the TP insert image button, the correct BB tags are in the copied code.

That's it.

Does that save a jpeg to your own drive at the same time?
 
No, it's purely for uploading to Flickr.

Oh, and you only have to do the Lightroom/Flickr permissions thing once. Once it's been set up you just have to drag the images onto the Flickr button and Publish them. Lightroom does the logging in and suchlike automatically.

I use the upload feature all the time direct from Lightroom, its an awesome feature.

If adding photos get used to using the alt key or command key to upload selected photos.

Once you get your head around it its awesome.

I would like to see Lightroom reading in sets that are currently in Flickr and not ones your create through lightroom tho.
