Picture viewer on Macbook Pro

When I open a file of pics I have loaded, I open the first image and when I look in view then click on slideshow it goes to full screen but nothing happens nor can I click on the back or next in top left of viewer, am I doing something wrong? any ideas?

If you're using Preview (it should open if you double click an image), it's quite a simple solution. You simply have to highlight all of the photos that you want to view from Finder, and then just double click one of them. This will open all of the photos in Preview at the same time, and you should be able to scroll trough with the back and forward buttons (or touchpad gestures) and launch into a slideshow with all of the photos.
