Yes
I dont have and photo editing programs at home, though have photoshop at work, which i can use during dinner and that.
Was thinking of getting elements for home, i know there will be some differences hence the price range, but is there anything missing from elements that i will need just to touch things up, i only normally use the levels, hue saturation and selective colour, with either the unsharpen mask or high pass filter.

I mean for anything more technical than that i could do them at work

Nope, go for Elements

:agree:

have to agree with the others. If you only use it for touching up, splashing out for photoshop would be a bit of overkill. Buy elements and put the rest towards a new lens or something!

Ive just invested in Elements 5.0, its ace, cant think of anything else i need that this doesnt have

I have both and there is no way I would pay 10x more for Photoshop CS3compared to Elements

I suggest that you have a serious look at Microsoft Digital Image suite (the anniversary edition).

At it's price point, it's hard to beat, it's faster and easier to use too.

I use Elements 5 even though I have CS2 on my poota ... does everything I need ... ... and loads of stuff I still haven't worked out yet ... :suspect: ... and you can't go wrong for the price ...

:p

I only purchased CS3 Extended recently when a friend pointed out I could get it shed loads cheaper using my student ID so instead of £887 retail I got it for £139 which I think is bit of a bargin.
I will probably spend the next ten years trying to work out every thing is does!!!

Cheerz:thumbs:
