Anyone recommend a good book on using PE - preferably up to PE7.
 
Try the Scott Kelby books from amazon, very easy to understand, his PE7 doesn't come out till about April though but you can pre order for about £15, or you could just try his elements 6 book.
 
Had the same thoughts but found loads of very good free tutorials on "Youtube"

Someone else recommended his books. I'll likely end up with a few different books.

When I was using PSE (v4) I found "The Missing Manual" book for that version a very comprehensive guide and did read it almost cover to cover, despite it's fairly 'dry' nature! I also got a book by Mark Galer which I found useful. It was a selection of projects which he walks you through, with accompanying videos and completed, layered, files on the DVD for you to look at for yourself and play with.
