Yes
After struggling with Canon DPP and GIMP last night and failing to get the same effect as a member who modified one of my pics, I have been looking at getting PS Elements this morning. And with a special offer till Sunday of about £60 it looks like a good option.

However I would like to swap over to apple in the near future. So does any one know if I can buy PSE for Windows now and then transfer the licence to Mac later, who would I have to buy another licence

I thought Adobe only transfer the latest version, so you may need to upgrade. Adobe would be the people to ask, then if they say yes you have it in writing.

I've probably got a spare Elements v5 licence you could use with your PC, Brocks. Then it'd just be a case of buying the latest version of Elements for Mac when you decide to switch.

I'll have a root around at home tonight and see if my suspicions are correct.

It's really only programs such as Photoshop you can migrate from one platform to another. And then only once.

If you have Elements for the PC then you will have to buy Elements for the Mac. Adobe won't migrate Elements from one platform to another.

It took a while but I finally got to speak to some one ;)

I spoke to Adobe today after alot of effort. I can transfer the liscence from PC to MAC once Free Of Charge.:thumbs:

Whoops, I'd totally forgotten about this. I do apologise.

Anyway, I've found a copy of Elements V5, all I need to do now is double-check the licence isn't in use somewhere else and if not - it's yours.

Watch out as the latest version of Elements for Windows is 7 and for the Mac is 6. I'm not sure if this affects your ability to swap licenses but it may be worth just checking.

All yours, Brock. Send me a PM with your postal address and I'll get it sent out ASAP.
