I have Elements 8, installed on MacBook Pro. Was working fine done many images on it since bought, now I am trying to launch it, and it states that t\I need to restart the computer and showing an Error 150:30. I restarted the computer as instructed the message came back and stated that after restart if this error is still showing you need to contact Adobe Support.

Any idea of what is going on.:(

Restarted the computer again and launched Photoshop Elements 8 again and it worked fine. For knowledge only any idea what is this Error 150:30.

Thanks guys, I've been trying to log in but it has been giving me that Safari in Mac is unable to connect to the site. Strange though to have this problem because it is an original copy sealed from South Africa. Technically it should not have any problem with the licensing.

Will keep on trying, maybe an update might fix this problem ???

It's a license error thrown up by the FlexLM licensing subsystem provided by Macrovision.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for that invaluable tidbit of info! I had recently disabled the FlexLM service on an experimental basis, due to security concerns, as the service was not a branded with a household name manufacturer (e.g. Adobe).

PS Elements had been giving me the 150:30 error, so when you mentioned FlexLM, a light went on. Photoshop Elements works perfectly after re-enabling FlexLM and restarting my system.

Your info saved possibly hours of trial-and-error! ;)

Many thanks,
David

David, can you share how did you enable FlexLM in Photoshop Elements. I am having a problem logging into the site mentioned by tjmckeown. This will help save me the trial and error as mentioned also in your post.

Thanks in advance.
