You should be very happy with this package, and it is at a good price. Photoshop Elements is a great piece of software which will really help you enhance your photos.

Why not download the free 30 day trial and see how you get on, it's what I did and was so pleased with the results I just bought it this weekend, you just missed out as it was on a
" black Friday" deal for £32.99

Watching thread, also a Black Friday purchase :)

My current version is from about 2003 whatever that was lol
The most i ever do would be some of...levels, contrast, crop, sharpen...so not much PP at all, but for 32 quid (plus 'premier')...time to upgrade lol....been waiting ten years for that black friday deal haha...

As an aside, i tried gimp there, and found it slightly frustrating, but ok for a freebie!!

is it easy to use? I know itll be trick to start with but if its overly diffcult to use it may put me off

Used PSE for a few years now. Currently using PSE 10.

Fairly complex program, but I find it quite logical to use.
You don't need to delve into every aspect of PSE. Basic editing is straightforward.
I give the Organiser part of it a complete miss and do my own organising within W7 My Pictures.

Plenty of books and online tutorials available. I recommend you make use of them.

My copy of Photoshop turned up today and save to say i'm lost lol

You ordered Elements and Photoshop turned up? Is the CS5 or CS6? Probably a bargain if it's the full suite!

I'm also interested in getting a copy of Elements (probably with Christmas money), I too like the idea of the 'guided' option as I currently use GIMP which is ok but sometimes i'm a bit lost as I don't really know what i'm doing with PP half the time.

Yeah was Elements 11 I ordered....I'm the same with PP total lost but we'll get there in the end

I have elements 10 that I got off fleabay earlier in the year. It's been great for me and my only editing software. I want to see what lightroom 4 is all about though ;) Maybe if I win a cash prize (somehow) I'll be able to afford CS5 but certainly not in my life time :D
