Hi, could somebody please explain what the difference is between CS6 & CS6 extended, as i am intrested in photo editing. Whichwould be the best option between the two programmes. Is the extended version geared up more towards video, or would they both cover photos as well?

For just photo editing just get cs6 and save your pennies
 
Extended has some useless 3D stuff bolted on. You'll never use it most likely. Just get CS6.
 
According to NAPP, the only difference is that extended has the stuff if your into videoing. If its just photo and 3d the extended is no different, so would be better getting the standard.
