Which is the best book for explaining CS4 without being too complicated????

Jon

try one of the scott kelby ones - not sure if he has a CS4 one, and his terminology is rather cheesey, but it's very straightforward & simple - and it assumes you know nothing (perfect for me! :) )

I've got PSE8, never used it before, and within a few flicks of the pages I was softening skin and sharpening single areas of my photos.

good luck

Another vote for Scott Kelby books, very very easy to understand, i have his CS3 book, his CS4 book can be had HERE ;)

Thats the book I bought for CS4, well layed out and very informative and a good price from Amazon too.
You won't go wrong with that book.

Thanks Guys...I'll give Kelby a go

You won't be disappointed, it's a great book.

I borrowed from my first copy from the local library till they made me return it. So I went out and bought my own copy. Still good value.

Another vote for the Scott Kelby book - I've learnt stacks from it and I've only had it a day or two!

full house. Scott Kelby books and video tutorials are fantastic.

Just to add something else in there - Adobe Photoshop CS4 for photographers, The Ultimate Workshop; Jeff Schewe and Martin Evening
