Yes
Years ago I followed the advice given here probably without fully understanding colour space, profiles, image processing etc and set everything to sRGB on both my camera and in Photoshop (CS3).

I have not knowingly since then changed any settings, but noticed recently on opening a “blue coloured car photo” (Jpeg) that it had a strange mauvish colour cast to it and on checking found that some of my settings in Photoshop had mysteriously been changed (from updates?) to CMYK for example.

I have reset my menu settings as follows and wonder if I have missed anything:

Camera
  • Colour space set to sRBG

Photoshop CS3
  • Edit - Preferences - General color picker - Windows
  • Edit - Color settings - Europe General Purpose 2 (Sets Working space to - RGB - sRGB)
  • Image - Mode - RGB color - 8 bits/channel
  • View – Proof Setup – Monitor RGB

Monitor
  • Set colour space in Advanced setting to sRGB

Is there anything else that I should be changing?

Thanks

I should have been a bit more explicit, my choice of Europe General Purpose 2 does set the working space to RGB - sRGB - will edit my original thread. Thanks
