can I open raw files in photoshop cs3? i,m just starting on photoshop.

It opens up it's own image editor.

thanks. I usualy just resize my photo's and dont do any adjustments, so photoshop is like chinese to me.
on nightshift tonight so can practise on it for hours..lol

Best advice I can offer to learn from scratch is to just keep playing with it. Worked for me! Then when you 'can' do a few simple things make it your goal to do specific things with the help of a good simple book. I got Photoshop CS4 in simple steps by Louis Benjamin.
Try to avoid internet tutorials as they just seem too complicated and confusing, i.e. no one has vetted/checked the information. Photoshop is a beast and you will be always learning something new!

Yes, but it depend on the model of camera as to wether it's supported in CS3's version of the converter. If you have a new(ish) model you may have to get CS4 (or use some other raw converter)
