Hi

If I want to crop an image but keep the cropped image in perspective of the orginal image how do I do this?

I knwo that if I press shift and drag the crop window round it, it creates a square crop.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Rob

Drag the crop box over your entire image, click & hold on the corner point & drag towards the centre whilst holding shift. If you click & drag in the centre then you can reposition. Hope that helps mate

I use the crop ratio boxes in the tool bar, so setting it, for instance, 4 x 3 or whatever it is, but I have a feeling there is a way to do that takes the original ratio and maintains it, but can't remember it.

EDIT: Thanks Mike, knew there was way ;)

not sure if this is what moomike meant, but hit ctrl+A (select>all), which will selct the entire image (a touch more accurate) then open the select menu and click transform. Hold shift whilst adjusting the box using the corners to keep the ratio then just click the tick at the top to fix the selection! :)
