Photoshop Codec for Windows?

I want to be able to view .psd files as images in Windows Explorer, at the moment I just get a PSD icon.
When I search for codecs I get some hits but I'm not sure about them, particularly the free one from Russia!
Any recommendations?
I know that I can view them in other programs but I have a specific need to view them in Windows Explorer

SageThumbs is the Russian one that I am wary of. Has anyone else used it with no problems?

Once again I would like confirmation that pictus is OK to use and does not cause any problems.
Recommendations from someone who is actually using such a program would be best
