Yes
I've just got around to updating my Photoshop CC 2015 and noticed that my Nik collection doesn't show up now. Do I need to install it again?

You don't but I confess I messed about trying to get it to work and ended up installing it again ... easy to do and of course it's free, so easy to get the download :)

i ended up re-installing aswell. i think adobe have said this should be the last update where this is the case. from the next updates plugins should remain

Thanks guys. Did install again so nothing lost but it's a bit of a pain.

Yes I too had to reinstall the NIK software when I did the update. Not a problem though.

if the nik selection popup doesn't appear you can bring it back.

File > Automate > Nik Collection Selection Tool

Finally got around to doing the update yesterday, all went well thankfully.

As I also use the Topaz Collection as well as NIK one, I had to reinstall them both. I'll certainly be pleased if Adobe, as they promise, make any future upgrades work with plug ins so that we don't keep having to reinstall everytime.

Simple Windows procedure copied and pasted from elsewhere, but not recommended by Adobe:

It is installed in a different location

In File Manager go to here:-

c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015

and copy the whole PLUGIN and PRESET Folders

then go to the folder below it:-

c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5
and simply paste them in
Your filters and licenses will be transferred
and all (after a very quick inspection) will be as it should be

Didn't work for me (as it has before) hence the re-install :)
