I've decided to try and get a few images on Alamy.

I'm currently having trouble get the files right.

I do the following

Open CR2 file in Photoshop
Do photoshoping and then sharpening
Save as Tiff file

What next?

Not aiming to be unhelpful here, but the Alamy site does give useful guidance on preparing and submitting photos. And they don't want photos sharpened, although some people give them a very slight tweak. And jpgs - not tiffs.

Yup, like Michael says, read Alamy's guidelines. They're very simple, but important.

For your first submission of four images make sure that they are technically perfect. It doesn't matter if the images are good compositionally, but they need to be sharp (but not sharpened), in focus and free of dust spots.

I think their rule re sharpening is a little vague actually. If you are shooting RAW then a small amount of input sharpening is pretty much essential - just dont go too far with it. Convert to Tiff while you do any other cleaning up and retouching and then save as a high res jpg for upload.
