Hi
I have just created an Action in PS - a watermark to go over images for an online business. I now need to be able to transfer the Action file from my Mac to PC in another location.
The Action is in my actions palette (not in the application presets folder) but the 'Save Action' command is greyed out and I don't know how to turn the action into a file that can be transferred. I'm using CS5 by the way. I'd be very appreciative if someone has the answer. Many thanks in advance.

I think that to able to save an action it has to be created within an action set not just as an action on its own EG: Actions - new set -name it - new action - name it - put it in the previously named set - create your action, you should then be able to save it.

Make a new set called watermark (or whatever) then with the pallet open so you can see your watermark action and the new empty set hold down alt and drag your action to the set (this copies it rather than cuts it) now save that set to desktop and silmply load it into the actions on new computer.

Thank you swanseamale47 & photoimaging for your quick replies. Just what I needed - I'm so happy
