photos too red

I have been getting a colour cast when printing photos at events recently which is a problem ive had before.
Now i have got custom made profiles and i do make a custom white balance at the start of shooting but i feel that although i use a grey card or white the photos still look a little too warm and when printed even warmer.
my imac screen is calibrated so are there any ideas how to get the custom white balance more neutral or cooler because the grey card method doesnt seem to be working.

Firstly, use white rather than grey for a CWB. Particularly at higher ISO's sampling grey can produce some odd colours.
