Don't know if anyone else has seen this. I presume it would also apply to the Nikon version too.

No reason given.

We're very sorry to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to close PhotoPlus magazine magazine. The team would like to thank you for your loyalty and support for our magazine over the years and we hope that we have inspired you to get the most from your photography.

Not many titles left now... Digital Camera, Outdoor Photography, Black and White Photography and AP?

Reason will almost certainly be rising costs and slowing sales. Sadly, in the Internet age, a paper based method of distributing slightly time sensitive information is obsolete, which is a shame as I enjoy reading physical books and magazines.

I think B&W Photography will continue as it's a relatively premium publication and more of an art thing than the others. It's hard to see a market for photography magazines these days, I'm amazed AP still hangs on, it's very expensive for a weekly magazine and very little editorial content really. .I'm surprised they sell as much advertising space as they do too, especially to MPB who are very cost-conscious these days (they dropped their ads and forum in TP for this reason 2 years ago)

I haven't bought the AP in quite a while now, too expensive for the content, I picked up a copy last week while out shopping, £4.50, it was duly put back on the shelf, I can see it to be the next to go digital only in the next year or so, I started buying it in the 1980's, it was as thick as the telephone directory back then.

These days I subscribe to the Nikon Owner magazine from Grays, and get the Professional Imagemaker from the Societies, both full of good articles.
