So the idea is this:
Get your stuff together and head out into the big wide world, when you spot something of interest you start the clock. You've got twenty minutes to capture enough detail on the subject to tell a story about it.
The timer starts from the first shutter click - use your twenty minutes as best you can, come home do your editing and post a thread either here to to General Photo Sharing with the title
Accompany your images with 100-300 words of text - think about this text when your taking your photographs, how will things be composed, where will the images fit into the story - do I need to get caption details from people in the photos?
I find that I do this in my head a lot but I'm going to do it explicitly here. Even if you don't fancy posting I suggest you have a go at something similar next time your out and about even if its only in your head - its all about learning to tell stories with your photographs - something which I'd like to get a lot better at...
For longer articles I suggest either 60 minutes or 120 minutes, just post them up as PJ:60 or PJ:120 - simple eh? Try to keep the photojournalism vibe going - feel free to invent stories and then come up with the photos to back them up etc - could be a lot of fun.
So, there's my idea - feel free to leave comments or suggestions and I'll edit this post to reflect any improvements
