When researching other publications, I took a look at the circulations of the various photo mags on www.abc.org.ukwebsite.
There is a wide variation in the publshed figures between Practical Photography's average of 57,359 and Digital Camera Shopper's 10,183. The odd one out, because it is a weekly, is Amateur Photographer at 26,869.
Don't know what to make of the figures, but with two new photo mags launching this month, the market certainly is crowded.

You can find all you need to know on the net without having to slog down to the paper shop. I stopped buying magazines years ago a while after I stopped buying newspapers.

I do succumb to temptation now and again, last weekend in Brum I bought Digital Camera because it had a free reflector on the cover and promised a preview of the Pentax K10D. The magazine was a waste of paper imo. The articles were badly written, the reviews were poor and the rest was filled with adverts months out of date with prices that were a joke.

/edit is was Digital Camera not Digital Photo...

2 new ones......what are they prey tell good sir?

I'm getting fed up with digital photo as they are swinging too much towards nikon and photoshop.

I'm trying to learnphotography, not photoshop. :(

"Digital SLR Photography" (due out on the 14th Nov., ex-editor of "Photography Monthly" in charge) and "Digital SLR User", out now and not worth the paper.
Thinks: it must be hell coming up with a new mag. title.

LOL Yeah, especially one that stands out from the others.

Im beginning to find the regular monthlies are getting quite repetitive now. But then again, apart from industry and product news, there is only so much they can put in their mags I suppose.
