Im in need of insurance for all my gear as it is growing all the time and i would not like to replace it what companies can you recomend and which ones to stay away from i would also like it to cover out side the EU as well this is a list of my kit and how much it cost just incase some wont cover this much

Canon 500D with grip
Sigma 150-500mm
Canon 55-250mm
Canon 18-55mm
Canon 50mm
Canon 28-105mm
All with UV filters

Lowepro Vertex 200AW

Sunpak Pro 423px Tripod

Cokin P Filter Holders 2x 1 filter and 1x 3 filter
3 grad filters 2nd 4nd 8nd
blue grad filter
polarizer

Canon 430ex

PNY 16gb class 10 sdhc
2x Sandisk 8gb class 6
2x el cheapo 8gb class 4

the total is about £2,500 if i have add it up right but i might be adding a 7D in there at some point (unless 7D MKII is out)

If you are not a Pro tog, you should be covered on your House Contents Insurance I think. We worth checking with them first.
 
As Kemble3 has said, household insurance should cover it, but make sure the amount covered for each single item is sufficient. When I first bought expensive gear, I found that I was only covered for £500 for a single item, so upped it to £5000.
 
Or the usual suspects, Aaduki/Photoguard etc, there are others listed if you search the forum, but these are the ones I have used.
