Had anyone been on photography & horse riding holiday abroad? If so, where and would you recommend it?

I am still a completely beginner with DSRL camera (haven't had the time to do it lol) and also a beginner when comes to horse riding.

No, I've never done this. But I am a keen and experienced rider with a fair amount of photography experience, I'm not sure this is a great mix. Unless you go somewhere to ride which is also photogenic ... And try to learn both skills by dividing your time between the two. There are loads of companies who offer riding holidays in Europe and worldwide if you google them but I would seriously not attempt anything long distance which involves long hours in the saddle if you're not fully experienced and saddle fit.

It's a great idea though. If it were me, I'd go for somewhere in Europe where you can ride for a couple of hours a day getting tuition and hacks through the countryside and spend the rest of use day with your camera.

In all my years of riding, I have never yet managed to use a DSLR and ride a horse at the same time.
