For those that use one could you give your thoughts/ recommendations please?
I like to be mobile in my approach especially during the deer rut so was thinking of the throw over bag hide from wildlife watching supplies.

tbh i've never needed a `hide` for the deer-rut, but they are very useful for birding. I suppose it depends on, what and where, you're shooting.

I follow the rut up on the hills and unlike the parks the deer there are difficult to approach. Sometimes it pays to sit it out but others you need to follow the herd (especially at the start/end of the rut).

Yeah, some of the parkland deer, although wild & free, aren't as skittish as the true wild deer.

Plenty of different types of camo nets out there. All sizes. I just carry one with me and throw it over me as and when needed. Very light to carry.
