Hi all,

i owned a 350d briefly towards the end of last year, but had to sell it for financial reasons. Im now looking to spend a grand on a new setup, however feel like I have forgotten a lot of what I had learnt. like F stops on lenses for etc

I have looked for some decent articles on the internet, and flicked through a few books in waterstones but nothing really catches my eye.

Are there any articles/books/e-books that anyone can recommend I read? I would LOVE to read an article that breaks all the terms down and maybe some images showing the effects different settings have on an image for example

Or even like a jargon buster that explains what an F stop is, and ISO in plain idiot (me) language.

help me pros!

A site called Photonhead is a very good site for explaining the basics. It also has an interactive 'sim cam' which people I know have found very useful in clarifying the effects of changing the settings on a camera in their minds.
