Anybody out there know of any photo fairs in the Midlands area coming up in the next few months?

The best thing if you want to meet local photographers is to attend a local TP Meet, or visit a local camera club meeting, I cannot really think of any photography specific fairs other than what Tom has already linked to

For meeting like minded people? Well, the TP Extravaganza is classed as Midlands - possibly a little more South East than real Midlands but still relatively close! (It's at Whipsnade, near Milton Keynes.)

Hopefully I'll be free on the Monday or Tuesday so I don't have to go when it's busy!

It's always tricky to find the dates of the various second hand camera fairs around the country, but this dealer list the dates when he's out & about, and he attends most of the travelling fairs.

You can get some good deals, but the dealers are all in it to make a profit obviously, and know their stuff, so don't reckon on finding some stunning bargains. However, there's always a lot of gear, "legacy" and new, floating about and it can be fascinating to look at what's available.
