Can anyone suggest/ recommend anywhere near Bristol for a photography course.

Depends what you want to learn Joe.

I'm going to be starting doing landscape and general photography workshops at some point later in the year and I need some guinea pigs to test my skills out on for free.

as said- depends what, are you after a general course? a qualification? or a specific course?
 
Just a general outline realy. tips hints ect.... I know how to get exposure right its things like understanding light & white balance i need to get my head around!
 
i'm bristol based too and still a complete numpty at understanding dslr settings, even though i've had one for sometime (but don't get the chance to really learn)

my main photography is of portraits, baby boy (9 months), family, candid type.

i still haven't got the basics right in my head, so anyone doing any free tips local i'll love to join in. even better if someone has a d90 too.
