Photography Club in Yorkshire - Location Suggestions?

Hi all,

I'm starting up an amateur photography club based in Yorkshire and am looking for ideas on where to take the group on upcoming field trips. Our first is to Sherwood Forest (I know it's not Yorkshire but it's nearby!) this weekend, but after that I want to raise the bar a little.

My dream location would be one of those Aeroplane Graveyards, those places where old planes go to rust, does anyone know of such a place anywhere near Yorkshire? I'm open to any suggestions, inside or outside the box. I'm hoping to avoid the cliché forest/country park thing where possible, so anything interesting will be considered.

Hi James, whilst they're not rusting away Elvington has some great aircraft, worth talking to them maybe? On similar lines Eden Camp has some cool vehicles and last time I went to do some photography there (on a car shoot for a magazine) they were very accomodating and helpful.

Let me know if you need any landscape locations in North Yorkshire, I'm always happy to help. I requested membership on FB too.
