Have to admit I've never heard of this, you can get about $2500 worth of software and education for $97.

10% of that goes to charity.

I haven't looked into yet but others might find it a great deal.

That time of year again? ... :)

Every year I look, but it's always such a mixed bag.

You know what they say.....
If a thing looks too good to be true then it probably is.

I've heard about this from Brian Matiash's newsletter and another source. Not sure if it's worth the money, but it sounds like a nice idea.

More expensive for Brits this year due to falling pound.

Great idea - I'd just never get around to working through the tutorials.

I paid up once. I got
  • some presets and actions I never use
  • a heap of written tutorials many of which can legally be found free - I did make time to read them - and which were of little interest
  • some superb video material (Zack Arias)
  • some badly cobbled together video material (Lindsay Adler)
  • a piece of software which I do use even though it frustrates me greatly (Topaz Remask, I'm looking at you)
Only buy it if you're already in the market for something in the set.

I had a look at this and decided that for me, it still wasn't worth the cost even with the heavy discount.

No thread this year?

I've bought a couple in the past, but never got around to looking at/using the content so won't be buying again.

Price creeping up too.

Yeah, and actions, presets etc. List here: https://5daydeal.com/

Just remembered worst aspect: you have to sign up to various sites to get the content = endless spam.
