:gag: Thank god - I had visions of pregnat women lying injured on the street:gag:

 i did think people would think that after i had already posted this thread lol lmao

Welcome to the forums :) What a wonderful idea - there's nothing quite like the beauty of a pregnant tummy!
If you type 'pregnancy photography' or 'maternity photography' into Google, you will get some really good ideas as there are some great sites out there from established photographers that I have just looked at :)

I agree, I think there's nothing in the world more beautiful than a pregnant woman.

For this I would search other peoples works, especially on the likes of flickr, searching for "Pregnant" as a keyword.

With this sort of photography in mind, I think I would be keen to try some nice low lighting, with the bump lit from behind, creating a nice silhouetted effect.
Maybe something like this, or maybe lay down.

lol... wow, thanks for all the ideas, i dont know why i didnt think of doing a google search... the examples i have seen so far are giving me alot of inspriation... not got long left to get the shots so guess i better start snapping away :)

Would love to see some of your shots if your G/F is happy for you to share them.

yeh, will see what kind of shots i come up with and will share the less revealing ones lol... obviously they'll be edited slightly anyway

I couldn't find a pregnant woman to photograph when I was due to submit to a competition with the theme 'inside'. Good luck with the snapping and the pregnancy.

Natural light shots taken by a window work well for that kind of shot. Avoid direct sunlight through the window, in fact an overcast or even rainy day is ideal. Net curtains might be a good idea. :D
