Hi all,
I'm after some advice - again
I want to take pictures of clothing that's been 'blinged up' with sequins or rhinestones for our website.
My equipment:
Canon EOS 5D MkIII
Canon Speedlite 580EX II + a couple more!
Canon EF 24 to 70mm F2.8 L USM Zoom Lens
Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS USM Zoom Lens
Canon EF 28-135mm F3.5 - 5.6 IS USM Zoom Lens
Kood 8 Star 77mm Filter
Most photo I see of 'blinged clothing' look lifeless & flat and far from blingy!
So today took a few snaps, not much arranging as I just wanted to see whether I could get something reasonable. I placed a 'blinged' t-shirt on a plain blue board so I can easily remove the background and here's the result. The camera was on fully automatic with the flash pointed directly at the shirt.

The bling is over exaggerated but there's dreadful moire! A lot of the colour in the blingy bits has gone
What would be the best way to set up my products for a shoot to maintain the colours in the bling and to remove the moire?
Cheers
John
