this was a hot debate between the wife and I and wanted to ask.

Has anyone just had a celeb/celeb agent etc book a session with you or have you successfully done the sales pitch and then photographed them?

We were discussing how the Royal family (the middleton pic sparked it off for us) TV stars, Jessica Enis wedding all things like this, how they chose one or are they pitched for?

Bit of both I imagine.

I've shot an (Aussie) semi-celebrity wedding (not huge names by any means, but enough for a TV station to sneak a 'journo' in in an attempt to blackmail the couple). I got the job because the wedding was being organised by an event company I do a lot of work with, so they suggested me.

Others I know have been done the same way, the celeb engages an event company to plan everything for them, including suppliers. Most famous people are going to be too busy to be devoting much time to what they may see as fairly trivial things like that, so they employ someone they trust to do it for them.
