I've just noticed that Cyberlink's PhotoDirector has dropped in price from £79.99 to £49.99. I tried it out before Christmas and found that it's almost a clone of Lightroom - a mirror image with the tools pane on the left - but at a price that's much lower than Lightroom.
I decided to stick with Lightroom myself but thought I'd mention it for anyone that wants the power of Lightroom without the price.
