Yes
Hello :)

I got married a month ago! We have our pictures back from the professional tog and love them. We spent a lot of money on her (not bothered by this) but we can't afford the higher end photo books starting at £300-£400 plus.

Has anyone ordered a lay-flat photobox book? I've seen a few on youtube but only from landscape photographers.

The colours look good, the feel looks good, just wondering if anyone else has used them for portrait photobooks, essentially.

Edit: Just seen I should have probably posted in the Printing and Presentation option! Sorry!

Many thanks

I've requested the move, and no I wouldn't choose a photobox album, AFAIR they always messed with the colour of my images.

Congrats squizza :)

And I wouldn't use a Photobox one either, but a few years ago I did use Blurb books for my photo-Guestbooks (I'm a Wedding tog like Phil) and I was happy with those then, maybe see what you think of them if you can't afford a 'proper' album - http://www.blurb.co.uk/ :)

I wouldn't use Photobox or Huggler. Bobs books are ok

Do they place their logo anywhere?

now that you mentioned it i have just had another look i hadn't noticed a logo before now but yes they do

it's printed on the very last glossy page which is blank both sides apart from a small logo a bar code followed by a smaller logo printed at the bottom of the back side of the last glossy page

the logo is less than an inch tall by 3 inches long including both logos and bar code ( ish )

just to add

because it is a blank page i would imagine the page could be cut out with some degree of success although i'm not going to try it :)

Or stuck to the back of the book with mounting spray :)
