Right i've been working on a family collage for a few weeks now, and tonight I have finally included the last photograph and the collage is completed.
The problem now begins at photobox, as they will only accept jpegs at a maximum file limit of 10mb @ 300dpi.. Okay not a problem when you use their own collage creator.
But using photobox's collage designer they are limited by how many photographs you can include. This is where I have decided to create my own.
according to my calculations, for a 30"x20" collage the resolution has to be 12751 × 8501 pixels @ 425.033ppi.. if I dropped the ppi to 300ppi and when saving the jpeg lowered the quality to the minimum would I be able to get a decent print on canvas from them?
