Photoartistry - Anyone else having problems

Hi folks,

I appear to be having a bit of a prolem with Photoartistry in that they won't answer emails or phone calls.

I've ordered a canvas for a client and want to check a) if theyreceived my image that was sent on CD due to it's size and b) when the print will be despatched direct to the client (belated xmas present).

I've left 3 voicemails on the subject and sent 3 emails to their info@. I did get to speak to a lady last week but she sounded very vague about my order (as though she knew nothing of it) and said she'd check and send me an email. Not surprisingly now, this email has never been received.

Just wondered if anyone else has had any contact from or problems with them recently as I'm getting to the stage of calling my credit card company to cancel the transaction.

Tbh, stopped using them a long time ago as had too many quality issues.

Thanks for that. I wish I knew who it was in charge...that'd be a start!!!!!!! Not sure who I got hold of. It sounded as though there was a slight foreign accent to her voice. That's all I got.

Suffice to say if you are thinking of sending money to Photoartistry, based on my current situation with them, my advice would be to take it elsewhere.
 
I looked up the owner of the website (photoartistry .co.uk) on whois..net. There you'll find the admin contact phone number (0845) and address which appear to : Anne Herbert in Worcester, Although the trading address is actually in Northampton. If you're getting no reply any other way I'd consider contacting them at the Worcester address. Worth a try I reckon. Good Luck
 
I ordered one of the 10x8 free prints so that i could test the quality.

i have not recieved it (over a month) and when i went down there they said that they were busy because of xmas orders.

Im local and drive past when working, so if you want me to go in and ask about your order send me the details and i will do.

I was supposed to be ordering prints for 11 photographers exhibition, but i wont be using them for any of the work.

I have access through a friend to Companies House details so I sent Ms Herbert and her 30% shareholding chum strongly worded letters to their home addresses saying the order was cancelled with immdiate effect.

Needless to say I got a phone call the exact same morning of the letter delivery from Ms Herbert which I ignored.

Surprise, surprise, the client said she received her canvas within 4 days.

Won't be using them again. :thumbsdown::wave:
