Well then peeps, for those of you that have walked, run and trudged the rising and falling path of the 2009 Photo52 the time has come for the last theme to be announced.

You managed themes like Dark, Longing, and even Grunge :naughty: so I have full confidence that this theme will be approached in your normal high standards

The theme for week 52 is

Texture

Remember too that the Photo52 2010 will start next weekend (I've got to go and spend a good couple of hours writing themes on the cards)

Texture an interesting shot to end the year on.

I would like to thank you Simon for the time you have put into this, I have really enjoyed this year long challenge and seen some superb photography from everyone... even if some of it required some significant crowbar use. ;)

I've decided to give myself the year off in 2010 so won't be joining the intrepid bunch who will be doing two years on the trot, but I will be looking in on you all from time to time to see how you're doing.

Mark:thumbs:

Phew...

I'd like to second Marks comments Simon. Thanks for taking the time to cominue povidijg rhe themes for us ( even if some of there were utter stinkers )

Big thanks to Simon from me, too. I've enjoyed most of the themes, hated some of them (no prizes for guessing which!) and loved looking at everybody else's shots. :)

Mark - we'll miss you next year (you slacker!) but hope to see lots of photos in other areas of the forums. :)

I for one, am looking forward to next year's batch of impossible topics. :)

Yep, a big thank you from me too. I've loved you and cursed you over the last 12 months. I'll let you guess which won out :). I, like Mark, will pass on this coming year, but will pop in and heckle where neccesary. Best of luck in 2010.

Jon

Thank you from me too Simon.
It's been a great challenge this year and I'm really looking forward to next year's themes. (except for one . . . I wonder if you can guess which one I mean )

Mark / Jon, it's a shame that you won't be joining again next year but I hope you'll still pop in from time to time to see how we're all doing.
I'll look out for shots from you both elsewhere on the forum.

Thanks again Simon, and it was great meeting you at the Convention (and I even pulled a decent theme out of the bag :D)

Jon and Mark, I'll miss your pics and your support next year, although I've just seen you volunteering for the 'other' 52 Jon ;). And Jon, won't you miss my words? You'll have to go back to 2 Sunday papers again

PHEW... I good theme for our swansong

Thankyou so much for your efforts this year Simon - I have struggled at times (havn't done "Health" yet!) but have also really enjoyed being part of the 52 this year. I think you can tell how successful it's been by the number of people wanting to join in for 2010. Well done everyone who has made it this far in 2009 - particularly those who have made it from week 1

*whistles* I'm not behind...I'm not behind....

My really good idea for health doesn't work now the snow has gone :'(

You mean you were going to post a shot of yourself rolling in the snow after a sauna?
