Can anyone recommend me a website where I can order some canvases using own photos, looked at some places and they are sooooo expensive!
Thanks
Marco

Snapmad are pretty cheap and reasonably good quality, I've had three now and happy with them all

Thanks for your replies everyone!

Look here, they can scan your photographs and create canvas prints from them.

Is this prices just to print them or is this to put them on a canvas frame aswell?
Thanks

Try CanvasIdeas.com at http://www.canvasideas.com/
The prices include printing and framing.

Always been excellent for me, they also have a new 'Desktop Canvas' that stands on it's own....never seen it anywhere else before.

The prices on the site are for prints but canvas prints are also available, contact us through the site.

you could just not bother
it's expensive
and incredibly kitsch

for the money I think a box frame looks better
or can't go wrong with a standard nice simple matt and frame!

So I got a canvas done, size was 33x33, picture was a tulip I had taken myself and it arrived today, picture quality is good, frame thickness is a little thick but this was only a trial.
Vistprint was the website I tried just to see what the quality was like for the price.
It cost me 13.99 for 33x33, full gallery type wrap and inc vat and delivery.

Here a picture of the canvas :)

Do you mean VistaPrint? £13.99 seems incredibly cheap for the canvas you got.

That is exactly the one, yep great price and great quality....prob down to the photographer that took it ;)

Was this a special offer? I can't see that size on their website.

Ah, I was looking at the wrong website.

Could you show us a pic of the reverse side of your canvas please?

It's at my girlfriends house at the moment so I shall take one when I'm over there later on if that's ok?

Hi Michelle, I didn't resize mine, but then again my picture was more or less square, I think they do it for you.

Hmmm I think mine is a little close to the top so would probably be cut off! its the 4th pic on my flickr sig of the blossom!

This is the reverse of a canvas print supplied by Procanvas. I've heard folk say that once the canvas is on the wall the quality of finishings doesn't really matter but every canvas I've sold the customer always looks at the reverse side after looking at the front.

I know its a bit late foe the op, but you were given some duff info regarding tradecanvasprint. Referring to an earlier post, http://www.tradecanvasprint.co.uk/ will sell you a canvas and the quality is amazing. Also TP members get 10% off and the finish on both the front and back are lovely.

Will post a picture later on :) proven as finish looks good :) but haven't tied them.

I've tried to order few prints from tradecanvas yesterday but was unable to choose size after uploading. did anyone have similar problem? I'll try tomorrow and give them a call as the quality of prints, as far as I've seen is outstanding.

No problems for me. Give Ben a call he will help. Make sure it's the .co.uk

What do you mean by duff info? Do I have to register before ordering a canvas print? And also how do I let them know I'm a member on TP?
Thanks:)
