Hiya, looking to bring holiday pics & videos together into one format [dvd ???] that we can give a copy to friends so they have something to laugh at!!!

Was looking at PhotoStory & the associated plugin to download it onto dvds?

Any comments/advice etc greatfully accepted

Just use Windows Movie Maker and save it as a video file and stick that on a disc!
You can make Titles, Credits and Captions to go with photos and stuff on there!

Hi DD, sorry to be a plank but can this handle jpgs etc in the movie maker format? i thought this would only work with video files

Proshow Gold is very good!!

I tried the Trial version and then purchased the full version. Brilliant kit (but takes a lot of space on the HDD).

Yeah of course it handles jpegs! all you need to do is load it up, import all the files you want to have in the video and drag them into the filmstrip at the bottom of the window. Then you can drag the photos to make them stay up for longer or shorter and you can add effects like fade ins and fade outs
