I have just finished building a web site for my photo restoration business I am starting up and I need some help from you.

I have a questionnaire I need to complete for my photo restoration business plan which the Princes Trust want to see. I am trying to get funding for new equipment and for advertising.

So if you can answer these questions it would be a big help.

1.Which age group do come under 15-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50+?

2.Do you have photograph’s that need restoring or enhanced?

3.Have you ever had your photographs restored? if yes where and how?

4.Where would you look first to find a photo restoration company?

5.Do you shop online? if yes where do you buy most often?

6.Do you own an image scanner?

Adam if you need the data from general public then this isn't the right place. Most people here know about photography and a lot know about resoration and would do it themselves. Therefore you're not getting an accurate view.

reckon you'd be better sending a gloobal message to all your friends on Facebook or something

and usually first posts are made in the welcome section, to tell us a little about yourself, before launching into questions like this.

6.Do you own an image scanner? Doesn't everybody?
 
Sorry mate, your not going to get a proper average asking here, if everybody answers truthfully it won't be worth you paying for the website when you total it all up.
Best bet ask on a non photographic forum for a more accurite answer.

I did guess that most people would be clued up on this, but I still wanted to see what you would say.

No I don't LOL, I just noticed your post count when I replied.
There are a lot of people around with pics for restoring, we have had a few in, although we haven't really got the time to do them, we have to fit them in a quiet time.
I'd say most are older people 50's - 60's maybe, and they don't really want to pay much, and some of the pics are pretty bad, so time consuming to fix.
For your question.
1 50+
2 no
3 yes (done by myself)
4 if I was looking probably try local studios or yellow pages
5 sometimes different places but warehouse express mostly
6 yes flatbed and film

still 40-50 though, not 39 anymore,:nono: bit touchy are we:D it's lasts until your 41 then you'll get A sportscar B motobike C younger woman then it's done and you'll be happy, until you reach 50 :lol:
 
In addition to the previous answers, I would also suggest using some sort of online polling service like http://www.misterpoll.com/ ideally one which lets you download the results, otherwise you are going to spend all your time transcribing the data...

41-51
to give you 12 months to adjust :D

5.Do you shop online? if yes where do you buy most often? Yes. 7dayshop

6.Do you own an image scanner? Yes, flatbed and 35mm film.
