I've been using Epson's Photo 1400 A3+ inkjet printer. I stopped using their ink because it was so bleedin' expensive, and bought a continuous ink system (Ink Express). I've also invested in a print profiling system (Spyder 3 Print SR), so I can tune my print quality.

Now I'm realising that Epson's paper isn't that white, and has a green/cream cast to it. So, I'm now looking for a good value alternative.

Any suggestions/suppliers, please?

Thanks, Paul. Looks good. Might also try Lyson, which seems to be about the same price.

Buy a small amount of a4/a5 paper to try it first, I find that the ink in my 1400 doesn't dry well on Ilford Gallery Pearl but works fine on Epson and Canon papers.

7Day shop carry a good range of paper.

I use Lyson paper and it is very good, but i use Lyson CIS as well so they are designed to work together.

I recently (at Focus) bought some Illford Gallerie smooth pearl and haven't had any trouble with the ink drying on my R2400 - I use Epson inks.

There are different types of Epson ink though, the 1400 uses Claria inks which are obviously different chemically. My older R200 has no problem with Ilford paper.
