photo merging/ using another picture to create a border

Hi everyone. I have found an image of hearts,which I want to use as a border around another picture. I want the picture inserted inside so that it is no longer a rectangle but is the shape of this heart border! I hope this makes sense!! Does anyone know how to do this? My editing skills are somewhat limited! I would put up the pics but I don't have any way of hosting them.

What software are you using?

I would do it with layers, picture on the bottom and hearts on top, then erase the bits of the hearts image where you want the other image to show through.

You can post images in to your Gallery on TP (click on 'Galleries' - it's just under the TP banner) and then copy them into your thread. Keep the longest edge to 800 pixels to avoid the pixelpolice!)

I do not need these images on here anymore, but cant find out how to delete them - I can't even find where I uploaded them to... Can someone please tell me how to do this? :s

Go to the post where you want to remove the pic and click edit (bottom right of post) then just remove the code you put in, click save and they will be gone

The images are still on the hosting gallery. I think you've only deleted the link.
