Week just before Christmas I asked if the wife would mind if I converted a small corner of our home office into a film working scanning and printing area. Also an area I could keep my film gear and make it easy for me to get to my stuff.

I also asked if she minded me putting up some hangers so I could pop my stuff up and view it and chop and change it. I got all the permission and lots of encouragement.

Its WIP but looking good so far.

Printing and Scanning dept, Canon Pro-100 just arrived and installed, heavy sucker, Epson V4490 (V500) also.



This is my Minisun Light Pad and Clinical magno light,
Just superb for viewing negs especially slide film prior to scanning.
Both Prezzies from the Wife.



This is my photo of the week stand where I just pick a particular picture and have it on show for me.
It motivates me to see what I am looking to and for.....mainly beer !



This is the stock I am building up for this year, more to come from @TheGreatSoprendo

Well, thats a fine little cameraman cave you have there. I need to do something similar I think with the study. I like the hangers, cracking idea and the lightpad is also something I shall look at. Cool stuff matey.

Coming along very nicely, you might have to squeeze in a film/beer fridge somewhere.

The Minisun LightPad is very nice

Its ok for standard negs but I love Slide

Slide looks deliccccc.

we run two companies from here.

Photo of the week is a great idea, i find it very inspiring and the new A3 printer makes it great for standing back or at my sitting position.

My wife surprised me with the Light Pad, she is a Dentist and just made the link when at work looking at X-Rays though a wall mounted light box.
 
I forgot to add I print a LOT of my stuff hence the walls are filling up throughout the rest of the office space.

The hooks are from Clas Ohlson 50mm model 21-2640 £1.70 for a pair and the line is just from them also a standard acrylic string very strong.

The clips are from Wilkos 90p for 10.

ok i am shocked at the cost of that lightbox was expecting 150 quid looking at it on the pictures

The light box is in action tonight, fresh batch of I think Provia 100 back from Peak via the Pentax 645N, looks lush !
