I am looking for about 6 nice frames to house A3 prints for my studio. Any advice on the best place to try to get these.

Also, what is the possibility of making nice frame, bearing in mind I have not done this before and will it save a great deal?

Thanks

Cheapest I could find was EzeFrame. Not got anything to compare them to, but I'm very happy with the resultant product.

Thanks for that Andy,

I have had a look at their site and it looks very good and prices seem fair. Will investigate further. My plan is to have A3 photos on the wall, but have not decided if I would like them to be mounted or not.

We have just purchased the machinery to produce frames and unless you intend to sell lots its not worth the expense (or hassle) of trying to make your own.

Probably ready made frames is the route you should go down to start with and see what happens from there.

I agree with Brian. Trying to do it without the right equipment s near on impossible to get exactly right.

How's it going Brian?

Hi Dave,

Picking it all up next Tuesday so will start the installation sometime next week.

Unbelievably we have sold two 20x16 Gold swept frames already that we ordered from Wessex. They went at £115 each which is a pretty good markup.

Will be in touch after the hols, all the best mate. Brian

Thanks Guys,

OK, so buy is the answer. Where are the best deals to be had for A3 and A4, but retaining reasonable quality. I like the mahogany/gold frames, but will consider other wood type. Also, what is the best material for the front, non reflecting glass, perspex, or what? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Malcolm
