When I currently save a Jpeg file it using Elements 6, it's around the 5MB mark. To Upload Photos to Alamy, they want them to be minimum 48MB. It's probably a really easy thing to do, but can anyone advise me how it's done?

Cheers

Dave

Thanks Spence, I'll look that up!

I think you have misinterpreted the upload conditions mate:

"JPEG’s saved at a high quality setting (i.e. Photoshop level 10 or above).
Alpha-numeric file names ending in .jpg.
RGB files, not single channel greyscale or CMYK.
Uncompressed file sizes of more than 48MB, we recommend that you do not interpolate your files to more than 55MB. This means you should make your JPEG file from an 8 bit TIFF file that is at least 48MB. If you have a camera that is capable of producing an uncompressed 8 bit, TIFF file size of over 48MB then leave it that size."

they are saying that if you submit an uncompressed (TIFF) file or make a JPEG from such a file, it should be over 48MB. The resulting JPEG does not need to be over 48MB, it just needs to be the highest quality possible, like saving with JPEG quality 10 in Photoshop.

5016 x 3344 px should give the right minimum file size for the TIFF.
