Photo essay template/software

I coul dbe being extraordinarily dumb here and you could all tell me to go in to my PSP software but are there any templates where you can drag and drop photos into a photo essay?

If you can do it in PSP, how? I tried last night and made a right mess of it.

Basically - what I'm trying to do is get 15 photos on one page in a non overlapping montage type thing.

create a new image, of a good size, colour the background to what you want. then open the images in individual files and crop/shrink to a more useful size. copy and paste as new layer on the blank image. resize to suit

Yup - that's roughly what I did and it was a mess I'm just not creative!

Lightroom has those sort of templates built in and you can down load extra different ones from the web - lightroom killer tips has loads

Cheers Ruth, I'll have a look at that........not sure if I can afford Lightroom though at the moment. Credit card bill has just come in with all my acupuncture bills and the dresses I bought for Dinner & Dance and the wedding!
